VinFast Brings a Roomy Electric Family Car to India – Full Details of the Limo Green MPV
VinFast, the fast-growing electric car company from Vietnam, is ready to surprise Indian families. In February 2026, they will launch the Limo Green, a big, comfortable, seven-seat electric MPV. This is the third electric car from VinFast in India after the VF6 and VF7 SUVs that arrived in September 2025. The Limo Green is built specially for Indian roads, Indian families, and Indian taxi fleets who want space, comfort, and low running costs.
Outside Look—Simple, Modern, and Very Practical
The Limo Green follows a clean and boxy design. This shape gives maximum inside room. At the front, you see thin wing-shaped LED daytime running lights. The main LED headlights sit low on the bumper—a style that looks fresh and bold. The side profile is tall and straight, with big windows for lots of light. It rides on smart 18-inch five-spoke alloy wheels. The door mirrors fold electrically and have built-in turn signals.
At the back, a full-width LED light bar connects both tail lamps. You get rear parking sensors, a reversing camera, a shark-fin antenna, and a small roof spoiler. The tailgate opens by hand (not electric yet). Because the body is tall and square, there is huge boot space even when all seven seats are in use.
Super-Spacious and Family-Friendly Inside
Step inside and you will feel the space. The wheelbase of 2,840 mm is longer than most rivals. This means excellent legroom in the second and even third rows. Adults can sit comfortably in the last row without touching their knees on the seat in front.
VinFast kept the cabin very simple and modern. There is no traditional instrument cluster behind the steering wheel. Instead, all information—speed, battery percentage, navigation—shows on a bright 10.1-inch touchscreen in the center. The screen supports FM radio, Bluetooth music, USB playback, and phone mirroring.
The air-conditioning is single-zone automatic, but the best part is that every row gets its own AC vents and fan speed control. No one will feel hot on long trips. There is also an air purifier to keep the cabin fresh. You will find USB charging ports in all rows, an electronic parking brake, Auto Hold for hills, and a day/night inside mirror.
Power, Range, and Real-World Driving
The Limo Green uses a 60.13 kWh lithium-ion battery and a front-mounted electric motor that produces 201 horsepower and 280 Nm of instant torque. It is front-wheel drive and offers three driving modes:
- Eco—for maximum battery saving in city traffic
- Comfort—perfect balance for daily use
- Sport—quick acceleration when you need to overtake
The company claims a 450 km range on a single charge (real-world around 380-400 km). You can charge at home with an 11 kW AC charger or use fast chargers on highways. An 80 kW DC fast charger adds 60% battery in just 30 minutes—ideal for quick tea stops.
VinFast’s Big Dream for India
VinFast is very serious about India. They already opened 26 dealerships in many cities. Their new factory in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu, will start making cars soon with a capacity of 50,000 vehicles per year. The company promises to bring one new electric model every six months. After the Limo Green, more SUVs, scooters, and maybe even pickups are coming.
The expected price is ₹25-35 lakh, putting it directly against the Kia Carens Clavis EV, BYD eMax 7, upcoming Toyota Innova electric, and Tata Safari EV.
For families who want a silent, smooth, zero-emission seven-seater with low running costs and modern looks, the VinFast Limo Green looks like a very strong choice when it arrives in showrooms in February 2026.
